The Mount Hood Diabetes Challenge Network is a forum for computer modelers of diabetes, in the field of health economics, to discuss and compare diabetic models. A total of 15 diabetes models from around the world participated in the 2022 challenges and IHE participated with three of their diabetes models: IHE-DCM, ECHO-T1DM, and ECHO-T2DM
IHE´s Sofie Persson also presented a study on hospital-based care, work absence and mortality for people with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease. The study also included a model-based analysis of short- and long-term effects of broader implementation of guideline recommended treatment.
