New IHE report on cancer care and cancer drugs in Asia-Pacific

In the coming weeks, IHE will publish a report series on cancer care and access to cancer drugs in Asia-Pacific. This week’s publication provides the introduction and the executive summary, ending with a call-to-action.

The report covers 14 countries and locations (including Australia, China, India, Japan), encompassing half of the world’s population. It intends to raise awareness of the size of the burden of cancer, the health resources used to tackle the burden, the challenges faced by patients in accessing innovative drug treatments, and possible ways to improve access to cancer drugs.
